The Courage to Change What Isn't Working

"Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is admit that something isn't working."
Do you find yourself complaining...perhaps to others or silently to yourself? Something like:
I feel overwhelmed with all I've got to do.
I'm tired all the time and don't feel like doing anything.
I haven't gone to the gym in weeks.
Nothing dramatic--just persistent nudges that something isn't quite working.
These signals don't show up only in your daily routines, they appear in your relationships, as well. Perhaps in tensions with a co-worker, frustration with a job that no longer feels right, or a marriage or partnership that's a struggle every day.
The good news is that complaints aren't failures--they're information. They're clues that something needs attention, or perhaps ultimately a courageous change.
Coaching Challenge
Over the next few days, gently pay attention to one complaint that keeps repeating--especially in a relationship or area of your life that feels draining.
Ask yourself:
What is this complaint really about?
If nothing changed, how would this continue to affect my well-being?
Is there a small change I can make to improve my situation?
You don't need an answer right away. Sometimes naming what isn't working is the most courageous step of all.

"What we are not aware of, we cannot change." --Carl Jung
